Profile

Mr. Wang has been in intellectual property profession since 1998 and qualified as a Patent Attorney in 2001. He has extensive experience preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications; providing Freedom-to-Operate advice; undertaking patent and IP landscaping analysis; providing IP strategy and portfolio management and advising on contentious matters.

Before joining our firm, Mr. Wang spent 25 months as a research assistant at Zhejiang University, preparing novel polyether electrolyte materials for Li-ion batteries, and 3 years as Senior Research Chemist in industry working in the areas of natural polymers, polymer synthesis including solution, emulsion and suspension polymerization of acrylate and methacrylate polymers, and a range of industrial applications of water-soluble polymers including paper making, construction, oilfield, water treatment, detergents and cosmetics.
