Ms. Lu is a senior patent attorney in our Chemistry and Life Sciences team and has been in the profession since 1999. She started her career as an in-house attorney with a multi-national company in Shanghai. After that, Ms. Lu co-founded a patent and trademark practice firm and later joined our firm.

Ms. Lu works for a range of clients, including large multi-nationals, start-ups and universities. She handles a wide range of chemistry and life sciences subject matter, from materials and chemical physics applications through to pharmaceutical and biomedical applications. She has particular experience in protecting and advising on inventions relating to small organic molecules and their polymorphic forms, pharmaceuticals, therapeutic methods, drug delivery devices and dosage forms, diagnostic tools and techniques and computer-implemented and machine-learning diagnostic methods.

Ms. Lu has plenty professional skills including drafting, prosecution, reexamination and invalidation. Besides, she also has extensive experience in conducting freedom-to-operate opinions, providing strategic IP advice and preparing due diligence opinions.
